"Just a couple of lines to thank you for letting us have the use of your gem of an apartment (how on earth did you find that?).
We had a fantastic holiday and found Umbria beautiful. We made friends with your neighbours and the elderly lady who used to live in the apartment, although we spoke very little Italian she managed to tell us that it became to large for her.
Your apartment was superb more than we ever expected we all felt at home as soon as we arrived.
We will have to return and will recommend the apartment to anyone looking for a holiday in Umbria".

Casa Bella Vista is a great base to explore Umbria, Tuscany and Le Marche.
Its great fun exploring all the little villages and back roads. We found a lovely sundowner spot up on the hill behind Castiglion Fosco.

"Mark, a belated thanks for making Casa Bella Vista available (we have had a constant run of guests). It was truly a joy - the facility, the views, the neighbours, Umbria. Just great. The Italian folk we met were so friendly and helpful. We made day trips to Florence, Perugia, Gubbio and Orvieto, along with numerous other amazing towns. I am reliving the experience by doing a series of watercolours. Again, many thanks".

"We knew from the great welcome from Mark & Lindsey and the minute we stepped inside Casa Bella Vista that we would enjoy our home away from home for the month of April and we have not been disappointed at all.  What a wonderful village, the people, the quiet - except for the bells but even that in the end has been a delight. A great place to come back to after a long day taking in the jaw dropping scenery of Tuscany and Umbria. We had a most enjoyable fortnight in the apartment, spending a lot of our time relaxing and reading on the balcony and enjoying the home comforts of this charming and well equipped holiday apartment. We have sampled the surrounding Umbrian countryside and spent time visiting villages and towns in the vicinity. It was always a pleasure after these outings to return to the peace and beauty of the immediate views from the apartment.
